Задачи

• Lead the design and delivery of cloud and platform solutions for major client programmes.
• Build trusted relationships with client technical and delivery stakeholders.
• Act as the senior platform engineering representative in client meetings, workshops and governance forums.
• Provide technical leadership during discovery, architecture, mobilisation and delivery phases.
• Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers.
• Define platform standards, engineering patterns and operational best practices.
• Drive automation through Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure platforms are secure, resilient and compliant with client and regulatory requirements.
• Support solution development, estimates, bid responses and technical assurance activities.
• Collaborate with architects, engineering teams and programme leaders to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Act as the escalation point for critical platform and infrastructure issues.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost optimisation and operational excellence.

Требования

• The role requires Security Clearance or ability to get SC in short timescales.
• Significant experience delivering cloud and platform solutions within complex enterprise environments (Azure / AWS).
• Demonstrable experience working directly with external clients and senior stakeholders.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading technical workshops and architecture discussions.
• Strong Azure expertise and cloud-native engineering experience.
• Kubernetes, containerisation and modern platform engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, automation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience operating within regulated, secure or mission-critical environments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience leading and developing engineering teams.

• Experience delivering platform and cloud solutions within Government, Defence, Critical National Infrastructure or other highly regulated environments;
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, security-by-design and platform governance principles;
• Experience with AWS and multi-cloud architectures;
• Experience operating and governing Kubernetes platforms at enterprise scale;
• Knowledge of modern observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry and Azure Monitor;
• Experience designing and supporting hybrid cloud environments;Familiarity with Internal Developer Platforms and self-service engineering models;
• Experience leading large-scale cloud migration and application modernisation programmes;
• Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and operational excellence practices;
• Experience with enterprise networking, identity management and Zero Trust architectures;
• Exposure to data and AI platforms;
• Relevant industry certifications, such as Azure, AWS, Kubernetes or Terraform
