Key Responsibilities

• Create and optimise CNC programs for precision-machined components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.
• Select suitable tooling, cutting strategies, and machining methods.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement effective solutions.
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet manufacturing targets.
• Ensure all components are produced to exact specifications and quality requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a CNC Programmer within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and manufacturing techniques.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience optimising programs to improve production efficiency.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
