Regular day shiftsInspire Resourcing Ltd are seeking a CNC Programmer for our client in the Mansfield / Chesterfield area.
The role is with a precision engineering company who are seeking an experienced CNC machinist who can program, set and operate CNC lathes using Siemens controls. This is a stable days based role offering excellent pay, a clean working environment, and long term career security.Duties include:Program, set and operate CNC milling and turning machines using Siemens controlsProduce precision-machined components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.Carry out quality inspections using a range of manual measuring equipment.Monitor tooling condition and make adjustments to optimise machining performance and production efficiency.Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and health & safety within the work area.Work flexibly to meet production deadlines and adapt to changing workloads.Work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with managers and colleagues.Provide occasional out-of-hours support where required for breakdowns and varied production demands.Requirements
Proven experience as a CNC ProgrammerAbility to program and edit using Siemens controlsStrong understanding of turning principles, tooling and machining practicesConfident reading technical drawings and working to tight tolerancesGood communication skills and a proactive approachReliable, punctual and able to work independentlyThe Package on offer
