Overview

In this role you design, implement and manage AWS solutions to meet technical and business objectives. You lead enterprise migration assessments and guide customers through cloud journeys, applying AWS best practices and well-architected principles. You collaborate with stakeholders across geographies to plan waves, manage risks, and deliver measurable outcomes. You will act as a trusted advisor, shaping migration strategy and modernisation efforts that unlock value for complex, regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting throughout project delivery
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Share knowledge through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Key requirements

• 10+ years of cloud architecture, solution implementation or consulting with large-scale migration focus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or related field
• Experience leading delivery of large-scale, mission-critical enterprise IT and migration programmes in a customer-facing role
• Technical lead experience for large-scale migrations: defining strategy, target architecture, and workload choices
• Experience using AI-powered and agentic migration/m modernization tools (e.g., AWS Transform, ModelizeIT, Kiro or equivalent)
• Hands-on infrastructure experience: network, compute, storage and virtualization
• Experience with wave planning, dependency grouping, capacity balancing and multi-geography coordination under regulatory constraints
• Experience leading large teams and matrix organizations with cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience with SDLC and agile/iterative methods
