Senior Analyst Capital Markets Energy

Overview

In this Capital Markets role, you will help originate and execute financings for M&A and asset-backed projects within Brookfield Renewable’s European business. You’ll work with senior leaders, lenders, investors and advisers to shape financing strategies and elevate growth initiatives. You will be integral to deal structuring, execution and lender/investor relations, contributing to Brookfield’s sustainable energy portfolio. This is a dynamic, teamwork-driven opportunity to influence financing outcomes at scale and accelerate European growth.

Responsibilities

• Execute project, acquisition and corporate financings with lenders and advisers
• Develop and negotiate term sheets, credit agreements and related documents
• Craft financing strategies for senior management presentation
• Assist in obtaining and managing credit ratings
• Support capital structuring and underwriting for M&A targets and development opportunities
• Assist in financing objectives and targets for business plans
• Support strategy development in key growth areas
• Contribute to a flexible, team-oriented culture and personal development

Key requirements

• 3+ years in project/corporate finance, investment banking (debt advisory or capital markets) or similar
• Experience in executing project, acquisition and corporate financings
• Transactional experience with loan documentation and closing
• Ability to travel for lender presentations and site visits
• Experience in European power & utilities is a plus
• Professional designation (CFA, CPA) would be an asset
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• French, Spanish or German language skills would be an asset
