3rd line IT Support Engineer

Overview

In this role you will provide advanced IT support as the 3rd line authority, oversee migration of services from outsourced vendors to internal IM&T, and manage the Telford site infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-site teams and vendor partners to resolve complex incidents and drive continuous improvements. Based at Telford with occasional UK travel, you will support a growing user base and local projects.

Responsibilities

• Insourcing & transition support: migrate services from outsourced vendor to internal IM&T team
• 3rd line escalation: act as internal authority for complex incidents and vendor escalations
• Telford site support: manage IT infrastructure, server rooms, and local hardware/software assets
• Cross-site mobility: occasional travel to support deployments and infrastructure projects
• Continuous improvement: identify bottlenecks and implement modern IT solutions for a growing user base
