An established pharmaceutical business is seeking an exceptional Head of Quality to lead Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC) and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing and repackaging environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape quality strategy, develop a high-performing team and lead significant improvement initiatives, including the implementation of an electronic Quality Management System (eQMS).
The Role
- Lead and develop the QA and QC functions, driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Oversee MHRA compliance, pharmaceutical licences, regulatory inspections and audit readiness.
- Ensure robust GMP/GDP compliance, QMS effectiveness, CAPAs, deviations and change control.
- Lead quality transformation projects and improve operational performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen processes and maintain the highest regulatory standards.
About You
- Proven Quality leadership experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing or repackaging.
- Strong knowledge of MHRA requirements, EU GMP and GDP.
- Experience hosting regulatory inspections and maintaining relevant licences.
- Excellent people leadership, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- A track record of improving quality systems and leading change.
Experience implementing an eQMS and relevant auditor qualifications would be advantageous.
