Product Owner – Operational Policing Solutions

Overview

In this role you will own the product vision and backlog for Operational Policing Solutions, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver user-centered software. You’ll balance business value with technical feasibility, collaborate with customers and internal teams, and ensure quality and market relevance. You’ll drive product decisions through data-driven insights and market research, shaping the roadmap and validating outcomes that support public safety objectives.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision across Operational Policing Solutions with user-centric design
• Define and prioritise product roadmaps, supported by commercial and technical judgment
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams (product, software development, UX) to gather, analyse and prioritise requirements and ensure design consistency
• Evaluate and accept software deliverables to meet quality and functional standards
• Support competitive analysis and market research to inform product decisions and identify innovation opportunities

Key requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in SaaS/software
• Strong communication, leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making
• Familiarity with design and product management tools (e.g. Aha!)
• Understanding of the public safety market is preferable but not essential
