Overview
In this Area Manager – Hospitality role, you will lead a network of Café Managers and Team Leaders across up to 25 Morrisons Cafes, driving improvements in sales, customer satisfaction, waste, and operational metrics. You will partner with central teams to simplify ways of working and implement six‑month plans that lift performance and hospitality standards. The role focuses on developing the Café team through recruitment, coaching, and performance management, ensuring a consistent operating model and first‑time execution. You will leverage data to shape customer experience and implement hospitality concepts across multiple sites, making a meaningful impact on store profitability and guest体验

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Café Managers and Team Leaders to deliver high‑performing teams
- Oversee scheduling and manage KPIs such as sales, waste, budget compliance, and customer satisfaction
- Coach and mentor staff to be role models within the business
- Maintain stakeholder relationships with regional teams, store management, and central functions
- Shape the customer experience using data to improve sales and reduce complaints
- Identify improvement opportunities across product processes, hospitality concepts, and store openings
- Analyse management information to drive data‑based improvements
Key requirements
- Background in retail or hospitality, especially food-led environments
- Proven track record of operational success across multiple sites
- Strong knowledge of P&L and key retail metrics
- Experience leading and engaging teams remotely
- Ability to build relationships across business levels and influence change
- Excellent communication and IT skills
- Ability to identify patterns and opportunities through data analysis
