Senior Data Operations Analyst

Overview

In this role you will oversee and improve Credit Benchmark’s data processing operations, ensuring timely, accurate delivery of our credit risk data service. You’ll mentor a regional team, collaborate with data contributors and internal teams, and drive data-driven improvements that increase efficiency and data quality. You’ll apply SQL, Python and data tooling to solve complex problems at scale, contributing to a high-impact, data-focused product. This is a hands-on, leadership-enabled position within a growing, cross-functional organization.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop data processing operations to identify and fix data quality issues
• Ensure timely delivery of services and meet service level targets
• Manage relationships with data contributors to support data aggregation and issue handling
• Collaborate with Sales, Analytics and Product to respond to client queries and support projects
• Design and implement continuous improvements to data processes for accuracy and reliability
• Lead and mentor analysts across London and Bangalore, setting data quality standards

Key requirements

• 3+ years in data operations or similar role
• Strong ability to solve complex data problems and work independently
• Experience leading projects or teams and coordinating stakeholders
• Willingness to take on manual tasks initially while automation is developed
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
• Strong project-management skills with ability to balance priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with Snowflake or similar data platforms
