Competitive salary + company car + full benefits package

Want to get closer to the farm gate?

Our consultants have joined us from leading rural consultancies and land agents to focus on what they enjoy most: practical, on-farm advice that makes a real difference. With demand for our advice growing, there’s real scope for you to build a client base of your own across Shropshire and Staffordshire – and to grow your career as the team grows.

A patch to build – with a foundation from day one

This is your chance to build and shape your own client portfolio. You’ll start with an established farm management client, then grow from there – with our local agronomists and service specialists opening doors and working alongside you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting farmers with budgets, gross margins and cashflows
  • Carrying out business appraisals and helping with grant funding applications
  • Providing farm management support and expert advice every step of the way
  • Analysing farm accounts using packages such as Xero and Sage
  • Building relationships with farmers, third-party advisors and influencing bodies
  • Working with our agronomy, soils, environmental and Omnia digital teams to give clients a joined-up service
  • Representing Hutchinsons at industry events

What you’ll bring

  • At least five years’ experience in farm business consultancy, rural surveying, land agency or a similar advisory role
  • Strong financial and farm business analysis skills
  • The confidence to build relationships and win new clients
  • A full UK driving license
