SITE MANAGER – KILMARNOCK

Location: Kilmarnock, Ayrshire

Rate: £30 per hour

Start: 2nd or 9th November 2026

Duration: 6 months

Clarkson Owens Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for a substantial commercial refurbishment and conversion project in Kilmarnock.

n

n

The project involves the transformation of a large former call centre/factory building into modern office accommodation.

n

Scope of Works:

n

n
• Internal strip-out and demolition works

n

• Taking the existing building back to its base structure

n

• Concrete and planking works

n

• Coordination of electrical installations and associated trades

n

• Managing subcontractors and daily site operations

n

• Maintaining site safety, programme and quality standards

n

n

Candidate Requirements:

n

n
• Previous Site Management or Site Agent experience

n

• Strong organisational and subcontractor management skills

n

• A proactive, forward-thinking and practical approach

n

• Ability to anticipate issues and keep works progressing

n

• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications

n

• Commercial refurbishment or demolition experience advantageous

n

n

This position would suit a hands-on Site Manager who can take ownership of day-to-day operations, coordinate trades effectively and drive the project forward without requiring extensive technical support.
