Network & Connectivity Solution Architect

Overview

In this role you design and govern end-to-end network and connectivity architectures for the CapCloud platform, spanning cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments. You will partner with clients and implementation partners to translate complex requirements into secure, scalable networking solutions. You’ll own reference architectures and drive IaC adoption to standardize deployment patterns. Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure network architectures for CapCloud across AWS and OCI in cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premises contexts
• Act as the primary technical advisor for customer connectivity and integration architecture during discovery, design reviews, and onboarding
• Create and maintain connectivity reference architectures, solution blueprints, and design standards (private connectivity, VPNs, APIs, load balancing, proxies, traffic management)
• Govern PKI, TLS/mTLS, and Zero Trust networking, ensuring compliance with X.509, RFC 5280, and PKIX
• Lead IaC adoption using Terraform and cloud automation; standardize connectivity deployment and integrate networking into CI/CD pipelines

Key requirements

• Several years of experience in network architecture, cloud networking, or connectivity engineering with hands-on work in AWS and/or OCI
• Experience designing end-to-end network solutions (VPC/VCN, BGP/OSPF, VPNs, private connectivity like AWS Direct Connect/OCI FastConnect, AWS PrivateLink)
• Knowledge of traffic management tech (Layer 4/7 load balancers, HAProxy, Squid Proxy, SSL termination, reverse proxies)
• Experience with Kubernetes networking, service meshes (mTLS), and API gateway standards
• Proven ability to present architecture recommendations to technical teams and senior stakeholders
