Business Development Manager

Overview

In this role, you will support marketing and business development activities for the Restructuring – Banking and Finance team, aligning campaigns with firm strategy. You will work with the Senior BD Manager to run large cross-practice initiatives, manage proposals and events, and strengthen client relationships. You’ll craft market-informed materials, coordinate sponsorships, and measure impact through CRM data. Responsibilities

• Develop and manage campaigns aligned with firm objectives
• Support cross-practice campaigns and large-scale initiatives
• Manage RFPs and proposals for regional/global needs
• Support client management and panel appointments
• Collaborate with partners on personal/practice business plans
• Research markets and advise on strategic client engagement
• Prepare BD materials and credentials for meetings
• Produce promotional content and coordinate internal promotion
• Capture client feedback as part of BD program
• Coordinate events planning, invitations, logistics, and virtual/hybrid delivery
• Assist with sponsorships and client entertainment opportunities
• Ensure ROI tracking via CRM and follow-up on leads
• Oversee legal directory and awards submissions
• Collaborate with BD team and Warsaw-based input into systems and databases
• Monitor BD spend against budget
• Handle ad-hoc BD projects as required

Key requirements

• Significant relevant marketing and organisational experience
• Experience in legal or professional services environment
• Ability to discern when to act or ask questions
• Builds trust with fee earners and stakeholders
• Ability to manage expectations and attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to take on additional responsibility
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and LinkedIn
